Project Summary

Earlier this year, the Aeri Productions team set out to create spec content to market themselves to clients seeking creative, brand-specific ads. One of the first businesses they approached was Wesley Chapel’s own Lights Out Boxing. I was invited to join the team for the client interview, where I asked about the brand’s origins, mission, and their vision for the ad. The key message they wanted to highlight was that boxing is for everyone—regardless of age, gender, or body type, not just for those with a super-ripped physique.

I then drafted a script initially called for voiceover, but after production, the Aeri team felt that text would more effectively communicate Lights Out’s message, avoiding the risk of a voiceover making the ad sound overly masculine. The final video was shared on Lights Out’s social media to encourage more people to give boxing a try.
