Micah Rossiter plays the lead role of Connor in “Can I Play Now?” Connor is faced with a daunting homework assignment: illustrating what he wants to be when he grows up. There is only one problem…he has no idea what he wants to be. Micah was cast in the role after Director, Kyle Marra, noticed his acting abilities in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat where he impressed with his ability to hold his own among a cast of much older brothers. Also in his favor was the fact that he and his older brother Kaiden bear similar features, as an older version of Connor was needed for this film.
Micah’s acting career began three years ago and has continued through training at the Live Oak Conservatory in Brooksville, Florida. He has had roles in Live Oak Theatre’s productions of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Little Mermaid. “Can I Play Now?” is his first film role.
