Lenia Richards plays the role of Maddie, Joel’s good friend and love interest, in Wayward: The Road Ahead. She has acted on stage for quite a few years with roles in Live Oak Theatre’s Peter Pan, Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Godspell.
Lenia is grateful for the chance to explore the film side of performing arts. She has also worked in clay modeling, set design and other visual arts, including artwork used in Root and Branch’s “Can I Play Now?”. Wayward: The Road Ahead will be her first supporting role in a short film.
